The state has recently banned the selling of alcoholic energy drinks. A news report showed that some of these drinks have the caffeine amounts of 4 sodas and the alcoholic amount of 5 beers. These bans are the response of 12 college students who went to the hospital last month after drinking these.
I think the state made a good choice in regards to safety. I think the companies of the drinks can maybe get their drinks on the shelves again by reducing the extreme amounts of caffeine and alcohol.
